Well my Darlin', You should try one step up from karaoke, if that's your thing, and go to a LIVE performance..... oh yeah! you can do it. join the Los Angeles Cabaret meetup group.... we're getting together Saturday 26th at 7pm to chat but watch out.... at 8pm our very talented Wendy Ryan will be on piano and it's Open Mic time..... I love to spice things up a bit with an old fashion torch song.....you should try it, Darlin'. Yes, we love to get people to sing along. This is how we NETWORK - - maybe I can remember to bring my boa LOL. You'll get to meet my friends of the cabaret community and for $10 I'll feed you a remarkable Caribbean salad and "Lawd Help Me" chocolate cake for dessert..... quite reasonable.... where else are you going to get dinner and entertainment at that price in this town?..... and you can be one of the stars as well. Right now the very talented John Dyer V, who is the organizer of Theatre @ the Comfort Cafe is rounding folks up for a mini production of "Show Boat" in September.... last month we did the Broadway hit "South Pacific".... it was a scream! Just informal fun with great people. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and a friend and sit back and enjoy.
